I didn’t see the method under the ingredients. I like to double check my preparation to follow all the steps. It’s hared for me to remember the video. You make it seem so easy.
Wanted to say how much I enjoy all your videos. I use my Roku all the time.

    Hey Julia,
Please tell that sweet baby of yours that I am so happy to hear that he likes them : ) It’s a big hit at my house as well, are you on Induction? I have been on Induction for about 23 days now and I am doing quite well. I want to encourage you to keep going, we can do this!

Jay, I first saw your videos on Youtube and then was so happy to find your website, lowcarb360.com. I made my the coconut buns today and they are _amazing_. When I saw you make them on the video, I thought they might taste all right but that they would likely have a weird texture. That is not the case — they are very bread-like. My nine-year-old son, who is a notoriously finicky eater, loves these. He asked me to tell you “Thank you for teaching us to make healthy biscuits.” You and I have exactly the same amount of weight to lose, so the best of luck to both of us! 🙂

Hi Barbara, great tip on the coconut flour : )

To Sharon… I make coconut flour with the pulp left over from making coconut milk in my Vitamix. I squeeze as much milk out as I can, then put the pulp into my dehydrator. I push it through a sieve before using it in recipes. I store the rest in the freezer. Coconut flour is just defatted coconut meat. I’ve made milk and flour from dried coconut flakes as well (use unsweetened, of course). Hop this helps! Hi, Jay!

Hi Fritz, thanks for the lovely compliment : ) Are you using coconut flour and are you using the cream of tartar on the egg whites? When I take them out of the oven they do not fall they hold there shape. I make a sandwich by using two buns I really don’t cut through them. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

  10. Fritz says:

Your recipes and videos are awesome! You keep me inspired. I have a question about these – I think I am doing something wrong….the buns look like yours when they come out of the oven but within a few minutes they are flat as pancakes (really delicious pancakes tho’). I am wondering if I need to add more or less of something to make them hold their “bun” shape so I can cut them in half and make sandwiches. Any advice will be appreciated 🙂

Do you mean Philadelphia cream cheese? Is so, then yes : )

  18. Jay says:

Hello from Holland! Unfortunately I don’t know of a substitute for cream of tartar. My guess would be to just make it with out it, I think this will still work well.

  19. Jay says:

Thank you for the support Linda, I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a lovely comment. I hope you enjoy the coconut buns : )

  20. Bonyies says:

Oh.. And I’m from Holland, we don’t have cream of tartar? What can I use instead? Also cream cheese is a problem.. Can I use Philadelphia instead?
