Honey Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Walnuts And Bacon

1 lb of  Brussels Sprouts  (cut tip at the stem, then cut each sprout in half)
5 slices of thin cut bacon
1/2 of a large onion
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Harmless Hunny
1/2 cups walnuts  (chopped)
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar (optional)

Cook bacon over medium-high heat until crisp, about 4 minutes on each side. Remove the bacon and lay it on a  towel to absorb the excess fat. Leave about two tablespoons of bacon fat in the pan and add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add the brussels sprouts and lay cut side down, cook for about 4 minutes over medium heat.  Add the onions to the pan and combine with the brussels sprouts. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Season the brussels sprouts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.  Cook for about 5 minutes more.  In the last minute of cooking, add the walnuts, honey, and combine. Remove from the heat and top with the balsamic vinegar (optional)
