Low Carb Scones!


In the video I show how to make these delicious low carb scones using a longer method. You can use a food processor and make these very quickly.

Ingredients:

1 cup Carbalose flour
1 cup Almond flour
2 table spoons Splenda
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 stick or 4 tablespoons  unsalted butter, frozen and cut into pieces
1/2 cup  Dried Cranberry
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1 Large Egg

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In the food processor mix all the dry ingredient.
Cut the frozen butter into pieces and add to the food processor and mix for a few seconds until blended with the dry mixture.
Mix the  heavy cream and the egg and vanilla extract.
Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture.
Add dried cranberry to mixture.
Separated into 8 pieces and drop scones on the baking sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Serves 8

    Hi , I am new to all this and woundering can I use some other fruit. I really hate Cranberry but your other part of this sounds so good.
