Home Made Ramen Noodle Soup

by Jay on November 10, 2011

After watching the movie “Ramen Girl”, I know I had to find a way to make low carb Ramen noodle soup. This is delicious! Enjoy!

1 Pack of Shirataki noodles (I bought it at whole foods the Spaghetti Noodles kind) cooked
2 cups of chicken broth
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp chicken stock bouillon (I used Maggie)
2 oz roast pork ( I bought at the deli counter at pub lix)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp dried red pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
salt to taste

For the topping
Steam Bokchoy
1 boiled egg
Tofu puffs
Bean sprouts (cheaper to buy at your local Asian store)
chopped cilantro
Chopped green onions

Yay! Good for you! Yes you can have Ramen and you can find the noodles at Whole foods and some local Asian stores may carry them. Enjoy!

I just decided to commit to at least a 2 week low carb trial after not losing any weight at all in a month attempting to eat low calories. I happened across your website on accident and I’m so excited to see that I can have ramen! Now I have to go out and find those shirtaki noodles
